Borakalalo is in the North West of South Africa and means "place where people relax." If you need to relax these holidays and love the outdoors and nature, then this is the holiday destination for you.

Attractions:
The Borakalalo Game Reserve is a beautiful day out for the whole family where you well get to see a variety of bird species along the Moratela River. There are also hiking trails and game viewing available which includes seeing rhino, giraffe, buck and zebra. The Vaalkop Dam is very popular amongst visitors and the locals where you can enjoy fishing, boating and many water sports on the dam to keep you busy. Another outing for the whole family while visiting the North West, is the Tswaing Meteorite Crater Museum which is the best preserved meteorite impact craters in the world and attracts visitors worldwide. The impact crater is approximately 1.4km and nearly 200m deep. This is a fascinating site and should not be missed.

Climate:
Borakalalo enjoys warm to hot summer months with most rainfall as afternoon thunderstorms and the winter months are dry with cool to cold temperatures.
