Attraction:
Dwarskersbos has beautiful beaches which attract many visitors and the Rocherpan Nature Reserve is a seasonal wetland vlei where you will get to see endangered pelicans, flamingos and other species of aquatic birds. You will also get to see the Southern Right Whale between the months of June and September. While on holiday in Dwarkersbos you might want to take the family to visit the West Coast Fossil Park in the Western Cape where you will get to see fossils found in 1958 such as the tooth of a prehistoric elephant and an ankle bone of a short necked giraffe. The West Coast Fossil Park in the Western Cape has been declared a world heritage site and should not be missed.
