The Ngwenya Gallery is a very interesting day out for the whole family where you can watch recycled glass being blown into beautiful art work. The Rhino & Lion Nature Reserve is a must visit while on holiday in Elandsdrift where you will enjoy guided tours in open top 4x4's where you will be able to see some of Africas large game such as lion, cheetah, buffalo, white rhino and many different bird species. There is a braai area with a pool where the whole family can relax and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors. The reserve is open daily between 8am and 4pm. Formerly known as the Witwatersrand National Botanical Gardens, the Walter Sisulu National Botanical Gardens is a beautiful and peaceful place to spend some time. You will be in awe of the wonderous waterfall which attracts visitors from all over, and the gardens with indigenous plants and wild flowers is just as relaxing and beautiful.

Elandsdrift enjoys a moderate climate with warm to hot summer months with most rainfall as thunderstorms and cool crisp winter days with temperatures dropping in the evenings.
