Equestria,
Equestria is situated in the Greater Pretoria area in Gauteng, South Africa. It is an upmarket sought after town with beautiful tree lined streets. It is a popular town with townhouses dominating the area which makes it a great ‘starter home’ opportunity. It is a fast growing town with lots to offer. It is also close to all amenities which makes it convenient.

There are many attractions nearby to Equestria and the Menlyn Mall is one of the closer malls and is very popular amongst locals and visitors from all over. The mall has everything under one roof for all ages. There’s a variety of shops and exhibitions to enjoy as well as movies to choose from and Go Karts for the more energetic. The Barnyard Theatre offers many shows and entertainment for everyone. The Pioneer Museum in Silverton is an interesting visit for the whole family too. It is set in a beautifully refurbished farm house which shows how the families lived in the old days. You will also get to see how the families made bread, roasted coffee and had to grind their own wheat. Another museum in the area is the Sammy Marks Museum. This museum is set in a beautiful Victorian Style house. The museum is open to the public and there is a tea garden where you and your family can relax and have a picnic. You can also try your hand at a game of croquet which is one of the popular sports that were enjoyed back in those days. The Union Building is not open to the public but the beautifully manicured gardens that surround these buildings is a great place to set up a picnic and admire the sandstone building which holds much history behind its walls.

Equestria is situated in the Gauteng area and enjoys warm to hot summers with afternoon thunderstorms, often accompanied by hail. The winter months offer sunny but cool days with temperatures dropping considerably in the evenings.
