Florida Hills
Florida Hills is a beautiful town situated on the West Rand in Gauteng, South Africa. It is a well known residential area and is close to all amenities with many attractions in the surrounding areas which makes it a convenient holiday destination. There is something for the whole family.

Attractions:
An interesting way to spend some time is at the nearby Roodepoort Museum. The museum traces the development of this region from the mid 19th century up until the more modern times. The Pro Musica Theatre is a community theatre where you can enjoy watching dramas, dances, singing and acting by local actors, professional and amateur. It is a great way for the family to spend time as there is so much entertainment for all ages. Not far from Florida Hills is the Northcliff Natural and Organic Market. The market is open every Saturday from 9am to 2pm. This is where you will find wholesome foods and locally made crafts and clothing.

Climate:
Florida Hills falls under the moderate climate of Gauteng. The summer months are warm to hot with afternoon thunderstorms. The winter days are cool and dry with evening temperatures dropping considerably.
