Hurlingham
Hurlingham is an upmarket, saught-after suburb in Johannesburg and approximately 5km from Sandton City.

Attractions:
One of the most popular attractions in Hurlingham, internationally and nationally, is the Nelson Mandela Square which boasts a 6m bronze statue of Mandela. Sandton City is known as the largest shopping centre in Africa and has something for everyone. The Wanderers Cricket Stadium is nearby and is the largest test venue in SA and was chosen to host the ICC Cricket World Cup Final in 2003. The Rosebank African Craft Market is open daily until 17h00 with many different hand-crafted arts and crafts for everyone. Zoo Lake is a wonderful park with a pond where the whole family can relax or enjoy a game of tennis, bowls or take a trip on the pond in a row boat. The SA Museum of Military History is an must while visiting Hurlingham, it is full of interesting exhibits starting from the Anglo Boer War, WWI, WWII and the Cival War Against Apartheid.

Climate:
Hurlingham is in the Johannesburg area and has a moderate climate with warm summer months with most rainfall as thunderstorms. The winter months are cool with very cold winter evenings.
