Kenton-on-sea Overview Information Midway between Port Elizabeth and East London, Kenton-on-Sea is one of the most beautiful places in the country - the Kariega beach was recently voted the best beach in South Africa. Kenton-on-Sea lies between the mouths of the Boesmans and Kariega rivers and both tidal waterways offer great fishing and bird-watching opportunities. Kenton-on-Sea is only a few kilometres from a number of game reserves that offer malaria-free game viewing, including the Big Five. Kenton-on-Sea offers hiking trails, mountain biking, township tours and is close enough to Grahamstown to afford easy access to the annual National Arts Festival.
