Here you will enjoy one of the most spectacular marine drives along Chapmans Peak Drive, with breathtaking views and the ocean below you. The very popular Noordhoek Farm Village is a must while visiting Lakeside in the Western Cape, you will find everything from shopping, art to wining and dining and a childrens playground. The Kirstenbosch Summer Sunset Concerts, every Sunday evening, during the summer months in Cape Town, November to April, is popular amongst visitors and locals and the whole family will love to relax or picnic in the Kirstenbosch Gardens while some of South Africas best musicians entertain you. Near Lakeside is the Zandvlei lake where you can enjoy windsurfing, surfing and yachting. An interesting visit for the whole family is the popular Boulder Beach where a colonie of penguins have made their home.

Climate:
Lakeside is in the Western Cape which enjoys warm to hot summer months with not much rainfall. The winter months are cool to very cold with most rainfall during these months.
