Marina Beach Overview Information

Marina Beach is one of eight South African beaches to achieve Blue Flag status in 2001. Blue Flag status is only awarded to beaches that show exceptional cleanliness along with facilities of high quality and good lifeguard services.

Marina Beach is situated next door to the Mpenjati Nature Reserve, which surrounds the Mpenjati River Lagoon This wetland reserve can be observed from walkways and observation platforms.
