Melrose North is an upmarket suburb between Rosebank and Sandton City in Johannesburg which makes it very convenient for visitors.

Attractions:
Not far from Melrose North is the popular Wanderers Cricket Stadium which is the largest test venue in South Africa and hosted the ICC Cricket World Cup Final in 2003 and still hosts many national and international matches. The Rosebank African Craft Market is a lovely way to spend the day with the whole family with a variety of quality African Arts and crafts and stalls for everyone, its is open daily until 17h00. If you feel like relaxing as a family then a trip to Zoo Lake will be the perfect spot for the whole family as you can relax around the pond or go on the row boats and enjoy the scenery. Also not far from Melrose North is the Johannesburg Zoo where there is a variety of animals to view such as seals, chimps, vultures, rhino, pola bears, crocs and gorillas.

Melrose North enjoys warm summer months with most rainfall as thunderstorms. The winter months are cool to very cold in the evenings.
