The Johannesburg suburb of Morningside Manor is situated in the north of the city to the west of Bowling Road. The suburb is bounded in the east by the Johannesburg Country Club and in the south by Wendywood. Morningside Manor is an up-market suburb, much of which is fenced off as a high security area. The suburb is very close to the vast Buccleuch Interchange which links the N1, M1 and N3 highways, making easy access to all parts of South Africa. Morningside Manor is about 30 minutes drive from Johannesburg International Airport.

Situated just a few blocks from Morningside Manor is the Woodmead Commercial Park, which houses a number of well-known consumer outlets in the Woodmead Value Mart and the Woodmead Super Value Centre. Morningside Manor is also close to the Vodacom World of Golf and the Woodmead Golf Driving Range. The suburb is just a few blocks from Rivonia Boulevard, where most top stores are represented.
