A tiny village, set in the heart of Natal's Midlands Meander countryside, Rosetta visitors can treat themselves to a "cheese journey" at the charming goat's cheese factory situated on the R103 between Rosetta and Nottingham Road, enjoy tea and scones on the banks of the Mooi River at Mother Goose or browse The Ugly Duckling, an excellent craft and curio shop.

Rosetta is also home to the Aardmore Pottery Studio, whose creations are sought after by art lovers worldwide.

Situated in the Snow Belt, Rosetta and its hospitality establishments are a favourite haunt of snowhunters coming here from all over Natal and further afield.

Visitors to Rosetta can enjoy fishing in the streams west of the village or hiking and hot air ballooning in the Kamberg, a short distance away.
