Universitas
Universitas is a tranquil, upmarket suburb in Bloemfontein, Freestate. It is less than 15km away from the airport which makes it convenient for national and international visitors.

Attractions:
Universitas is nearby the Mimosa Mall and Bloemfontein Waterfront where you will be able to shop, use the banking facilities, sit down at several restaurants or just walk around and enjoy the view. While you are visiting, you will also be able to enjoy a game of golf on the nearby course. Only 7km away, is the Bloemfontein Orchid House which is an exquisite and interesting nursery. Also in the area you will be able to visit the Oliewenhuis Art Museum which is home to many brilliant South African artists' exhibits. The Vodacom Park Stadium, now known as the Freestate Stadium is less than 6km away from Universitas and will be hosting some of the 2010 Fifa World Cup matches. A lovely day out for the whole family would be at the Bloemfontein Zoo where you can see a variety of large cats, chimpanzee, many different bird species, elephants and the popular Liger.

Climate:
Universitas enjoys a moderate climate with hot to very hot summer months with most rainfall as thunderstorms and cool to very cold, dry winter months.
